BSc Mechanical Engineer (UdG-1995), MSc Mechanical Engineer (UPC-1998) and Doctor by Universitat de Girona (2005). Professor at the department of Enginyeria Mecànica i de la Construcció Industrial of the Escola Politècnica Superior, Universitat de Girona, and member of the research group AMADE (UdG). My teaching activities focus on courses on mechanics and machine design at bachelor level and finite element modelling and design and analysis of composites with finite elements at master level. My research activity focuses on the numerical modelling and experimental analysis of composites with oriented reinforcement and polymeric matrix and more specifically on the analysis and modelling of damage associated to intra- and interlaminar fracture and damage tolerance and resistance. At the moment I am focusing my activity on the characterisation and modelling of additive manufacturing (3D printing) composite materials.
