Received his PhD degree from the National Institute of Applied Sciences Lyon, France in 1990. Currently, he is a Professor at the Civil and Hydraulics Department, Faculty of Sciences and Technology. He is the dean of Sciences and Technology Faculty. His main research interest’s focuses on finite element modelling, mechanical behavior of materials, and composite structures design (functionally graded materials). He had 18 PhD and 28 MSc completions, currently supervising more than ten PhD students do. He has published more than 90 papers and 200 communications. He has an indice h9 and more than 300 citations.
