Graciela Nora Doz de Carvalho completed her doctorate degree   (Dr. Ing.) at the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, Argentina, in 1995. She is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Brasília - UnB. She has published articles in specialized journals and more than 100 papers in conference proceedings. She was also Director of Projects  at UnB and Coordinator of the Post-Graduate Program in Structures and Civil Construction. She is a master and doctoral advisor, working in the area of civil engineering, with emphasis on the dynamics of structures.
