Dr. Daniel Di Capua is Civil Engineer and is currently professor of Strength of Materials at the Technical University of Catalonia, UPC-BarcelonaTech . His current research fields are Computational Methods in Solid Mechanics and Structures.
He is senior researcher at the International Center of Numerical Methods in Engineering, CIMNE, Barcelona, Spain, where he collaborated in research projects in the framework of RTD programs funded by different Spanish Ministries, and in many consultancy contracts with Spanish and international companies or institutions.
