About
I am a research engineer working on passive and low energy technology applied to the built environment. Focused on the scope to transfer production techniques and information standards used in industrialized manufacturing to the AEC (Architecture Engineering and Construction) sector. Particular interest in the potential for passive energy transfer techniques such as net radiation cooling, actuator devices for thermal-to-mechanical energy conversion and designing multi-functional shape-transforming parts.
Teaching experience in technical drawing, prototyping using a wide range of digital and analogue fabrication methods for parts and assemblies.
Active member of UK national standards committee on technical drawings and technical product documentation.
