This system has been used since the startup of the Purex Plant. Because the production rate of Purex has increased significantly since then, it seems appropriate to ask, ``Is trucking the optimum method under the present and predicted rates of production?`` At the request of Purex Operation, a study has been made of the UNH hauling system, and of some possible alternatives.
