	<title><![CDATA[M. Campo]]></title>
	<description><![CDATA[<p>M. Campo graduated in Chemistry from Complutense University of Madrid and has a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Rey Juan Carlos University. She received a FPU grant from the Ministry Education. She has 54 research articles (Web of Science,WoS), with most of them in the first quartile. She has a H index of 20 (Scopus) and 19 (WoS). More than 65 contributions in national and international conferences, participation in more than 25 research projects, 11 contracts with companies and 2 patents. Two research stays, one at the University of Hamburg at the &quot;Institute of Polymers and Compounds&quot; and another at the Polytechnic University School of the Basque Country in the group &quot;Materials + Technologies&quot;.<br />
The main lines of research are focused on epoxy matrix composites with carbon nanofillers (carbon nanotubes and graphene) for process nanocomposites and multiscalar materials. She has experience in the manufactured optimization and the characterization of these materials and in the evaluation of their mechanical, electrical and thermal properties. The wear behaviour of these nanocomposites and their possible application as wear coatings on metal and composite substrates has been studied. Her latest most extensive research has been based on the manufacture and characterisation of multifunctional composite materials, based on the addition of carbon nanostructures in thermostable matrices, mainly epoxy. In this line the evolution has been marked by a first stage focused on the optimisation of the processing conditions of these materials towards the characterisation for applications of structural health monitoring, thermal dissipation, the Joule heating effect (de-icing, self-healing), among others. The last lines of research are the process of epoxy coatings with carbon nanostructures (graphene and nanotubes) with high wear resistance and anti-icing and de-icing properties for application in parts of wind turbines, airplanes or aircraft composites. And the processing of nanocomposites by additive manufacturing or 3D printing by Direct Write and DLP process.<br />
With regard to her training capacity and educational skill, she has been a professor of<br />
undergraduate and postgraduate studies since 2001 at the Rey Juan Carlos University, currently occupying the figure of Professor of the University. She was coordinator of Industrial Management Engineering from September 2011 to September 2019, at which point she became Director General for Academic Planning at the ESCET. She has been the supervisor of 2 doctoral theses, with currently 2 doctoral theses in progress. She has tutored 56 end-of-degree projects and 10<br />
end-of-master projects from 2009 to date. She received aid for contracting a predoctoral researcher from the Community of Madrid in 2017 for 2 years. And she received another grant for contracting a laboratory technician for 3D printing<br />
technologies, as part of the actions &ldquo;Promoci&oacute;n del Empleo Juvenil 2018&rdquo; of the &quot;Secretar&iacute;a de Estado de Investigaci&oacute;n, Desarrollo e Innovaci&oacute;n para t&eacute;cnico de laboratorio del Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovaci&oacute;n y Universidades&quot; in 2019. It was also for two years. Qualified by AENOR and ACIE as technical expert for the technical evaluation of I+D+i projects.</p>]]></description>

	<title><![CDATA[Davide Mocerino]]></title>
	<description><![CDATA[<p>Davide Mocerino is a highly skilled and accomplished researcher with a wealth of experience in <strong>material science and engineering</strong>. He has a proven track record of multidisciplinary expertise in various fields such as <strong>material characterization, production methods, and structural analysis</strong>, with a deep focus on <strong>Finite Element Analysis (FEA)</strong>. He received a solid foundation in <strong>composite materials and Structural Health Monitoring (SHM)</strong> during his undergraduate studies in aerospace engineering at the University of Naples Federico II. He used <strong>Neural Network techniques</strong> to predict damage in aircraft components.</p><p>His master&#39;s in aerospace engineering, which he also received from the Federico II University of Naples, expanded his understanding of <strong>structural design, fabrication, and characterization</strong>. The creation of a <strong>testing procedure for biaxial carbon structures</strong> was the main goal of his Master&#39;s thesis. Throughout this time, he also completed an internship at Atitech S.p.a. where he focused on <strong>monitoring and preventing damage to composite materials</strong>. This provided him with invaluable practical knowledge in <strong>aviation maintenance</strong>.</p><p>After completing his Master&#39;s degree, he worked as a <strong>Research Assistant</strong> at the University of Naples Federico II, where he developed a <strong>recycling process for gypsum</strong> and investigated the <strong>production of environmentally friendly composite materials</strong> by combining gypsum with hemp fibers. This work led to his Ph.D. research in the same university, where he focused on the <strong>use of natural fibers and polymers to create novel green composite materials</strong>. During his Ph.D., he conducted <strong>6 months</strong> of research at <strong>Imdea Materials Institute</strong> in Spain, where he specialized in <strong>coding and developing simulations for Artificial Intelligence applications in production processes</strong>.</p><p>During <strong>the last year</strong>, Davide was a <strong>Research Associate </strong>in the <strong>Structural Composite Group at IMDEA Materials Institute Spain</strong>. He is in charge of overseeing Ph.D. students, assisting them in honing their research abilities for the future, and participating in many <strong>national and international projects</strong>.</p>]]></description>

	<title><![CDATA[Alexander Lopez-Urionabarrenechea]]></title>
	<description><![CDATA[<p>Chemical Engineer and PhD in Environmental Engineering, with international mention and extraordinary award. His research area focuses on obtaining secondary raw materials, alternative fuels and/or energy from the treatment of complex waste, both of industrial and urban origin. He has participated in 10 research projects in national, regional and university competitive calls, being principal investigator in one of them, and in 7 private research contracts with companies, among them Repsol YPF and BEFESA R&amp;D. In terms of scientific production, he has published 35 articles in high impact international journals and 1 book chapter (19 Q1, 16 Q2, 1727 citations, h index=18). In addition, he is the main inventor of a Spanish patent validated in the European Union (Germany, Italy, France) and the United Kingdom. He has also presented 70 communications at national and international symposiums. This scientific production has supposed the recognition of 2 six-year research periods. He is a member of 2 PhD programs: Environmental Engineering, and Engineering of Materials and Sustainable Processes. He has supervised 3 doctoral theses, one of them international and with extraordinary prize and another with mention of industrial doctorate, and currently directs 5 more doctoral theses. Finally, he is a member of the evaluating entity of the Euskoiker Foundation for the evaluation of the safety reports of Basque companies affected by the legislation on serious accidents involving hazardous substances.</p><p>In the teaching area, he is associate professor of Environmental Technologies in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering of the School of Engineering of Bilbao (UPV/EHU). He teaches &quot;Waste Sampling and Analysis&quot; in the Degree in Environmental Engineering, &quot;Waste Management&quot; and &quot;Treatment of Industrial Waste and Contaminated Soil&quot; in the Master Degree in Environmental Management and Engineering, and &quot;Recycling of Materials&quot; in the Master Degree in Advanced Materials Engineering. In the teaching evaluation program of the UPV/EHU DOCENTIAZ he has obtained a rating of 94.92/100 and 86.32/100 in the two calls evaluated.</p>]]></description>
