Currently, she is a PhD student into the Composites departament of Tecnalia&#39;s Industry and Transport Division. The doctoral thesis is being carried out in collaboration with the research group GMT group (Materials + Technologies Group) from University of Basque Country. Her Doctoral Thesis, co-directed by Arantxa Eceiza and Isabel Harirmandy, is focused on development of new sustainable polyurethane resins for RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) for automotive structural applications.</p>]]></description>

Currently Collaborating Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering of Gipuzkoa. My teaching activity consists in the teaching of the subject Theory of Structures in the Degree of Civil Engineering and the subject Structures II in the Degree of Building Engineering.</p><p>As for the research, I belong to the research group Mechanics of Materials from the University of the Basque Country. 	<description><![CDATA[<p><span id="biography">PhD in Chemistry in the University of the Basque Country (2012), Master in Applied Chemistry and Polymeric Materials (2011) and Graduate in Chemical Sciences from the University of the Basque Country (1999). He works in the Plastics and Composites Group of Tecnalia (Div. Industry and Transport) since January 2000. Her experience focuses on the manufacturing technologies of both thermoplastic and thermoset materials and composite materials. She is expert in processes such as RTM, Infusion, Casting, autoclave molding and manual molding and especially has extensive knowledge in all processes related to liquid molding techniques either thermostable or thermoplastic. He has experience and Knowledge in the recycling processes of composite and plastic materials and sustainable processes. He has participated in different projects, both European and national, acquiring experience in knowledge of materials, technologies and applications of plastic materials and composites from sectors such as automotive, naval, space or wind, among others.</span></p>]]></description>

	<title><![CDATA[Rocío Calderon Villajos]]></title>
	<description><![CDATA[<p>Soy Doctora en Qu&iacute;mica por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He realizado mi tesisen el Instituto de Ciencias de Materiales de Madrid (ICMM). He realizado una estancia en el extranjero en el laboratorio de F&iacute;sica de la Materia Condensada de la Universidad Ecole Polytechnique, Palaiseau (Francia). He trabajado en CIEMAT en el departamento de Energ&iacute;a en la Unidad de Pilas de Combustible.</p><p>Actualmente me encuentro trabajando como Profesora Contratada de Doctors en el<br />
departamento de Matem&aacute;tica Aplicada, Ciencia e Ingenier&iacute;a de los Materiales y Tecnolog&iacute;a Electr&oacute;nica de la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.</p><p>Soy especialista en la fabricaci&oacute;n de nuevos materiales v&iacute;a s&iacute;ntesis en fase h&uacute;meda de baja temperatura (s&iacute;ntesis hidrotermal, sol-gel, s&iacute;ntesis en capas delgadas mediante spray pir&oacute;lisis). Manejo todas las t&eacute;cnicas de caracterizaci&oacute;n de materiales (microscop&iacute;a: SEM, TEM, cristalograf&iacute;a de electrones, resoluci&oacute;n de estructuras cristalinas por difracci&oacute;n de Rayos-X, an&aacute;lisis por IR, micro- y nanofabricaci&oacute;n, an&aacute;lisis t&eacute;rmico diferencial, espectroscop&iacute;a &oacute;ptica, perfilometr&iacute;a). Especialista en la s&iacute;ntesis de nanocristales dopados con tierras raras para la obtenci&oacute;n de propiedades espectroc&oacute;picas optimizadas.<br />

Tambi&eacute;n soy especialista en la fabricaci&oacute;n de materiales polim&eacute;ricos termopl&aacute;sticos con impresi&oacute;n 3D, dispersi&oacute;n de nanorefuerzos en matrices polim&eacute;ricas y en la extrusi&oacute;n de los mismos. Actualmente me encuentro optimizando la fabricaci&oacute;n de probetas de Surlyn con y sin un nanorefuerzo de nanotubos de fibra de carbono v&iacute;a impresi&oacute;n 3D y realizando una comparaci&oacute;n de las propiedades mec&aacute;nicas y evaluando la capacidad de auto-reparaci&oacute;n que presenta el pol&iacute;mero estudiado.</p>]]></description>
