From 1999 to 2000, Postdoctoral position at the LMT laboratory, Cachan. Joined Arts et Métiers ParisTech, Metz Campus in 2000, where working currently as a Professor at the LEM3 laboratory. From 2006 to 2008, worked as a CNRS full-time research associate at the LaMCoS laboratory of INSA-Lyon. Visiting Associate Professor at Eindhoven Technical University (Department of Mechanical Engineering) from 2010 to 2011. My main current research interests include structural stability (bifurcation) analysis of dissipative systems (elasto-plastic, visco-elastic and visco-plastic), material instability modeling in relation to the prediction of formability of metal sheets, as well as finite element technology (solid–shell formulations).

Specialties: - Structural stability (bifurcation) of dissipative systems (elasto-plastic, elasto-viscoplastic),
- Material instability modeling in relation to the formability prediction in sheet metal forming,
- Finite element technology and formulation and validation of advanced solid–shell elements.

At the present time, he is a research Engineer at CIMNE and is starting his PhD.

During his degree, Jonathan already showed interest in numerical methods and computational science by first working as a scholar at CEHINAV (Canal de Ensayos Hidrodinamicos de la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Navales, Madrid) and then starting an internship at CIMNE that lasted over a year. Now that he has finished his degree, he is starting his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Julio García Espinosa at CIMNE.
