I am currently a member of the research team in numerical simulation by finite elements in the Laboratory of Scientific Computing of the Academic Department of Mathematics of the National University of San Agustín de Arequipa.
I am a co-advisor on a research project on the proximal point algorithm on Riemannian manifolds with superiorly bounded curvature, for a graduate student.
In the field of industry, I have participated in modeling of kinematics and dynamics of robots applying Clifford's algebra.

Currently, he is a Professor at the Civil and Hydraulics Department, Faculty of Sciences and Technology. He is the dean of Sciences and Technology Faculty. His main research interest’s focuses on finite element modelling, mechanical behavior of materials, and composite structures design (functionally graded materials). He had 18 PhD and 28 MSc completions, currently supervising more than ten PhD students do. He has published more than 90 papers and 200 communications. He has an indice h9 and more than 300 citations.
