I'm particularly keen on working in biomechanics and mechanobiology applications within this field.

I'm a Serra Húnter Associate Professor at the Aerospace Engineering group in the Department of Physics of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and an Assistant Research Professor at the CAMMS group in the International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE). 

I balance my teaching duties in Aeroplane Design with my ongoing research projects on modelling self-healing polymers and biocomposites for aerospace applications. I continue participating in projects derived from my postdocs in brain mechanics and the mechanobiology of limb formation.

As a scientist, I continuously grow by staying at the forefront and training in the industry in different areas to improve my professional skills. I am currently working on my doctoral thesis on nano-reinforced flexible piezoelectric sensors for the monitoring of movements and vital signs in order to contribute to the biomedical area.

Since 2010, she is working as a Project Manager in DIOPMA research group at University of Barcelona, managing several R&D projects and dealing with competitive and non-competitive project as well as collaborative projects direct with the industry and companies. Furthermore, Ms. Galindo manages several European projects where Universitat de Barcelona was involved as INNOSTORAGE, funded by the European Union (PIRSES-GA-2013-610692) or INPATH-TES project funded EU H2020 (H2020-CSA No 657466), and an Eco-Innovation project REWASTEE (ECO/13/630286), Ms. Galindo was involved on tech-transfer activities of the projects. In addition, in 2015 she was won a part-time lecturer position at University of Barcelona in the Business Department at Universitat de Barcelona
