I hold a Bachelor in Economics from University of Barcelona and a Master in Business Administration from IESE. I have over 25 years of experience in management consulting acquired while working at firms like Deloitte (based in New York from 1996 to 2001 and London from 2001 to 2007), Booz Allen Hamilton (based in London from 2007 to 2014) and Kearney (based in Dubai from 2014 to 2019). In late 2019 I decided to retire from consulting, so from 2020 I have been back to Barcelona (where I am originally from) where I lecture on International Economics at the University of Barcelona, I am responsible for economic analysis at FERRMED (a European railway support association) and also vice-president of the Catalan Economy Commission within the Col·legi d'Economistes de Catalunya (Catalan Economists' Association). Throughout the years, and particularly after retiring from consulting in 2020, I have been the author of a number of published papers (some academic and peer reviewed, others published in professional and general-circulation journals) and three books on various topics related to applied economics.

Industrial Technical Engineer specialising in Mechanics (2008) with a Master in Mechanics of Materials and Structures (AMADE Group UdG - 2011) and a Master in Management of Innovation and Business Technology (GREP Group UdG - 2015) from the University of Girona. In February 2010 he joined AIRBORNE COMPOSITES as Design Engineer, where in addition to commercial aeronautical and space projects he was involved in some European Research Projects such as: HIVOCOMP (Advanced materials enabling high-volume road transport applications of lightweight structural Composite parts) of Seventh Framework Programme, SAGE2 LIGHT-COWLS or AGF (Active Gurney Flap) of CleanSky, or JUICE (JUpiter ICy moons Explorer) mission for the ESA Cosmic Vision programme. In January 2018 he joined TECNALIA as Project Manager in the Composite Materials Technologies for Aerospace/Transport Applications department, involved in Research Projects, among them the European Project PIVOT2 of Shift2Rail of H2020 or CIRCULAR-TP of the EIT Raw Materials. In parallel, he studied a European Master in Project Management at the University of the Basque Country (EHU 2021).

Professor of the department of Business Administration in the University of Lleida. Also I am a professor consultant in the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).
I have collaborated in the realization of consultancy works in topics of marketing research and strategic marketing in companies of different sectors.
I have published diverse papers so much in national magazines as international on different aspects of the tourism marketing, service marketing and e-commerce.
I have participated in different national projects, I have imparted courses and seminars on the thematic of the e-commerce and Internet and I have given conferences in seminars and national and international congresses.
I have done different research and teaching stays in national universities (Universitat Internacional de Catalunya) and abroad (University of Bath in United Kingdom Institut de Préparation à l'Administration et à la Gestion. Nice. France; Institut d’Administration des Enterprises. Université Jean Moulin. Lyon France; Departamento de Economia, Gestão e Engenharia Industrial. Universidade de Aveiro. I was reviewer at the International Journal of Hospitality Management, International Journal of Services Technology and Management , Information Technology & People; International Journal of Electronic Marketing and Retailing (IJEMR) among others.
Currently I am Dean of the Faculty of Law,Economics and Tourism, of the University of Lleida (Spain).

Associate Professor in Transport and Logistics at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. He holds a PhD in Engineering and Transport Infrastructure and an MSc in Civil Engineering. He also holds a MA in Organisations Management. His research interests focus on the impact of transport and logistics on several research fields, including urban and regional studies, history, economics, and management. He uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to map, model, simulate and assess changes induced by technological, infrastructural, managerial, or social innovations.
