Computer Science Engineer by the Technical University of Catalonia. Advanced Studies Diploma at the Technical University of Catalonia. Nowadays finishing a Ph.D. at the International Center for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE) in the Technical University of Catalonia. Since 2005, technical manager of the R&D department in Information Technology at the International Center for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE). His main research line is integration of simulation and computational predictive models with smart wireless sensor networks. Furthermore, he is in charge of the Web technologies development team in the ICT CIMNE department, with a wide experience in design and implementation of Web platforms for digital content management, online e-learning centers, web portals for civil engineering enterprises and online e-payment, e-commerce and e-business information technologies. Since 2001, he has participated in organization of more than 60 international conferences and congresses as technical manager and webmaster.

Gerard Mor is finishing his PhD studies in Engineering and ICT at the University of Lleida. Master degree in Decision Making at the Rey Juan Carlos University, Spain. Degree in Building Engineering, B.Sc. (University of Lleida). With more than 10 papers in International Journals and Congresses, Gerard is specialized in time series data analysis with a background in building engineering and statistical learning. As Data Scientist, he focuses on building energy loads modeling (forecasting, fault detection), Machine learning applied to data clustering of user patterns, and managing and processing data streams within big data architectures. Nowadays, he is in charge of the development and implementation of Demand response services in the ENMA big data platform within the frame of the SIM4BLOCKS, EKATE, BIGG and ENTRACK European Funded Projects. He is Head of the data analysis team within the BEE Group.

MSc in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering by the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) and PhD in Civil Engineering by the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC).

Currently, I am full professor of shipbuilding technology at the Higher Technical School of Naval Architects and Offshore Engineers (ETSIN) of the Technical University of Madrid and the Deputy Director of Institutional Relations.

I conduct my research in collaboration with the Model Basin Research Group at ETSIN (CEHINAV) and the International Center for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE). My research career has focused on developing computational models for fluid-structure interaction analysis and their application to the design and verification of ships, platforms, and marine structures.

I am the author of more than 35 articles published in first-tier international journals, have presented over 80 papers at international conferences, and have participated in more than 25 European or international research projects.

Additionally, I have been the promoter and co-founder of Compass IS, a company specializing in engineering design, and Scipedia, the developer of the platforms Scipedia.com and BIM TeamUp.
