	<description><![CDATA[<p>&nbsp;Ainhoa Arrese Arratibel&nbsp; es actualmente Profesora Titular de Universidad de Mec&aacute;nica de los Medios Continuos y Teor&iacute;a de las Estructuras en la Universidad del Pa&iacute;s Vasco en la Escuela de Ingenier&iacute;a de Gipuzkoa.</p><p>Pertenece al Grupo de Investigaci&oacute;n &quot;Mec&aacute;nica de Materiales&quot; MECMAT de la Universidad del Pa&iacute;s Vasco.</p><p>Se incorpor&oacute; al Departamento de Mec&aacute;nica de la Escuela de Ingenier&iacute;a de Gipuzkoa en 2005 como becaria de doctorado financiada por la Diputaci&oacute;n Foral de Gipuzkoa, investigando sobre nuevos m&eacute;todos de ensayo para caracterizar el comportamiento de fractura interlaminar de materiales compuestos unidireccionales. Obtuvo el t&iacute;tulo de doctora en 2009.</p><p>Los&nbsp; intereses de investigaci&oacute;n se centran en el &aacute;rea de la Mec&aacute;nica de los Composites, en la caracterizaci&oacute;n mec&aacute;nica de composites de fibra continua y uniones adhesivas para aplicaciones estructurales. Su inter&eacute;s de investigaci&oacute;n actual se centra en el desarrollo de una metodolog&iacute;a experimental fiable para la caracterizaci&oacute;n precisa del comportamiento de fractura de las uniones adhesivas.</p><p>Es autora o coautora de 18 art&iacute;culos en revistas internacionales revisadas por pares (factor h de 11, proporcionado por Scopus) y ha participado en varios (6) proyectos de investigaci&oacute;n regionales en este campo. Ha contribuido con m&aacute;s de 25 ponencias y p&oacute;sters en congresos nacionales e internacionales.</p>]]></description>

I have participated in different research projects, both national and European.&nbsp;</p><p>The main industrial sectors of&nbsp;the projects in which I have participated are the automotive, aeronautics and space. On the other hand, he has directed 6 doctoral theses in doctoral programs with a Quality Mention. According to the Web of Science (WOS) database, the number of publications is 83 indexed in the Journal of Citations Report (JCR), with a total number of 1876 citations, with an average of 23.2 citations per article. The number of citations in the last 5 years has been 257 with an average of 51.4 citations per article. The researcher&#39;s H-Index is currently 25 according to the WOS database and 28 according to the Scopus database.</p><p>I have held the following management positions within the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV): Associate Dean of Masters, Postgraduate Training and infrastructure at the Higher Polytechnic School of Alcoy (EPSA) from April 2017 to December 2020; Deputy Director of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials of the UPV from July 2012 to November 2016. In addition, since July 2015, I have been Academic Director of the Degree in Mechanical Engineering of the EPSA, qualification with the EUR-ACE Seal of Excellence.</p>]]></description>

	<description><![CDATA[<div id="visible1"><p>Faustino Mujika is Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the field &ldquo;Mechanics of Continuum Media and Theory of Structures&rdquo;in the Faculty of Engineering of Gipuzkoa, at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). He obtained the Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering in the High Technical School of Engineers of San Sebastian (University of Navarra).</p><p>With respect to undergraduate teaching, he has been involved in subjects related to Rigid Body Mechanics and Mechanics of Materials. He has also been teaching Mechanics of Composite Materials in Master studies in the Faculty of Engineering of Gipuzkoa and in the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao. He has supervised 9 doctoral theses related to the mechanical behaviour of Composite Materials.</p><p>Concerning research activity, he has analyzed mechanical tests related to flexural behaviour of composite laminates, introducing new test methodologies and novel test methods. Simple and low cost test methods have been proposed by using more developed novel analytical methods. Nowadays he is the head of &ldquo;Mechanics of Materials&rdquo; Group. He has attended numerous national and international conferences. He is coauthor in more than 50 articles included in the Web of Science, 27 of them having direct relation with the 9 supervised doctoral theses.</p><p>&nbsp;</p></div>]]></description>

Lourdes S&aacute;nchez Nacher desarrolla su actividad docente en el Departamento de Ingenier&iacute;a Mec&aacute;nica y de Materiales, en el &Aacute;rea de Ciencia de los Materiales e Ingenier&iacute;a Metal&uacute;rgica. Actualmente ocupa una plaza de Catedr&aacute;tica de Universidad. Su actividad investigadora se desarrolla en el Instituto de Tecnolog&iacute;a de Materiales de la UPV en el &ldquo;GRUPO DE INVESTIGACI&Oacute;N EN FORMULACI&Oacute;N, PROCESADO Y MODIFICACI&Oacute;N SUPERFICIAL DE POL&Iacute;MEROS, GiProSup&rdquo;, grupo que centra su actividad en las siguientes l&iacute;neas de trabajo: (1), Optimizar las formulaciones de materiales polim&eacute;ricos mediante el empleo de part&iacute;culas y nanopart&iacute;culas y ofrecer materiales multifuncionales. Especializada en el campo de los materiales polim&eacute;ricos habiendo realizado m&aacute;steres en Qu&iacute;mica Aplicada y Materiales Polim&eacute;ricos (UPV/EHU-2010) y en Dise&ntilde;o de Producto Pl&aacute;stico y Gesti&oacute;n (Leartiker-London Metropolitan University-2012). Profesionalmente ha desarrollado sus conocimientos en los departamentos de I+D del Centro de Investigaci&oacute;n Joxe Mari Korta (Polymat), y en compa&ntilde;&iacute;as dedicadas al sector e&oacute;lico y a la automoci&oacute;n. He currently holds a position as University Professor since February 2019. His</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 10.24px;">research activity is developed at the Institute of Materials Technology of the Polytechnic</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 10.24px;">University of Valencia since April 2006.</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 10.24px;">Dr. Fenollar is the author of more than 45 articles published in journals listed in the JCR of</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 10.24px;">various topics, focused on the development of sustainable materials. The main lines of research</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 10.24px;">have been the surface modification of polymeric substrates through plasma technology, and</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 10.24px;">those focused on obtaining polymeric materials with less environmental impact. 	<description><![CDATA[<p>Soy Doctora en Qu&iacute;mica por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He realizado mi tesisen el Instituto de Ciencias de Materiales de Madrid (ICMM). He realizado una estancia en el extranjero en el laboratorio de F&iacute;sica de la Materia Condensada de la Universidad Ecole Polytechnique, Palaiseau (Francia). He trabajado en CIEMAT en el departamento de Energ&iacute;a en la Unidad de Pilas de Combustible.</p><p>Actualmente me encuentro trabajando como Profesora Contratada de Doctors en el<br />
departamento de Matem&aacute;tica Aplicada, Ciencia e Ingenier&iacute;a de los Materiales y Tecnolog&iacute;a Electr&oacute;nica de la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.</p><p>Soy especialista en la fabricaci&oacute;n de nuevos materiales v&iacute;a s&iacute;ntesis en fase h&uacute;meda de baja temperatura (s&iacute;ntesis hidrotermal, sol-gel, s&iacute;ntesis en capas delgadas mediante spray pir&oacute;lisis). Manejo todas las t&eacute;cnicas de caracterizaci&oacute;n de materiales (microscop&iacute;a: SEM, TEM, cristalograf&iacute;a de electrones, resoluci&oacute;n de estructuras cristalinas por difracci&oacute;n de Rayos-X, an&aacute;lisis por IR, micro- y nanofabricaci&oacute;n, an&aacute;lisis t&eacute;rmico diferencial, espectroscop&iacute;a &oacute;ptica, perfilometr&iacute;a). Especialista en la s&iacute;ntesis de nanocristales dopados con tierras raras para la obtenci&oacute;n de propiedades espectroc&oacute;picas optimizadas.<br /><br />
Tambi&eacute;n soy especialista en la fabricaci&oacute;n de materiales polim&eacute;ricos termopl&aacute;sticos con impresi&oacute;n 3D, dispersi&oacute;n de nanorefuerzos en matrices polim&eacute;ricas y en la extrusi&oacute;n de los mismos. Actualmente me encuentro optimizando la fabricaci&oacute;n de probetas de Surlyn con y sin un nanorefuerzo de nanotubos de fibra de carbono v&iacute;a impresi&oacute;n 3D y realizando una comparaci&oacute;n de las propiedades mec&aacute;nicas y evaluando la capacidad de auto-reparaci&oacute;n que presenta el pol&iacute;mero estudiado.</p>]]></description>

He works in the Plastics and Composites Group of Tecnalia (Div. Industry and Transport) since January 2000. Her experience focuses on the manufacturing technologies of both thermoplastic and thermoset materials and composite materials. She is expert in processes such as RTM, Infusion, Casting, autoclave molding and manual molding and especially has extensive knowledge in all processes related to liquid molding techniques either thermostable or thermoplastic. He has experience and Knowledge in the recycling processes of composite and plastic materials and sustainable processes. These studies were conducted with a fellowship provided by the International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE).</p><p style="text-align: left;">2008: Dissertation of the PhD: &ldquo;Micro-mechanical simulation of composite materials using the serial/parallel mixing theory&rdquo; supervised by Dr. Sergio Oller.</p><p style="text-align: left;">2008-2009: Visiting scientist and Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) department of the West Virginia University (WVU). More than 50 contributions to national and international conferences.</p><p style="text-align: left;">H-Index of 11, according to Scopus Database.</p><p style="text-align: left;">&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: left;">Research projects:</p><p style="text-align: left;">Participation in 1 research project in the United States, 9 European projects, 6 national (Spanish) projects, 1 project in collaboration between WVU and CIMNE and 6 projects for the industry.</p><p style="text-align: left;">&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: left;">Editor of 1 scientific journal and reviewer of 9 scientific journals.
